GSX not functioning properly at Caribbean airports vol.1
« on: April 26, 2022, 08:48:04 AM »
Alright I feel this problem is happening to me only, so everytime I tried to use GSX(level 1) at the airport I only get the option for Gate 1 at Piarco TTPP and not at any of the other gates, and if I do use gate 1 it says the gate is isolated. Any help on getting gsx to be fully functional at the airport? As well as the other airports TGPY and TTPP cause they seem to make the same problem there, not sure if it's the AFCAD file but any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hello,
Under the Add-ons dropdown menu in FSX, can you try clicking Couatl settings → Restart Couatl and rebuild airport cache? This should cause GSX to rebuild the airport configuration and use the included file.

Hi again my apologies for late respond, reinstalling GSX seems to did not work also did the same for the FSX and still nothing... so I am out of ideas, i'll dig around again see if I can find the cause of the problem.

No worries. Since the product came out in late 2020, it's possible that the older configuration file no longer functions with the latest version of GSX. The airports are configured to work with the version of GSX at the time of release, but GSX has seen a multitude of updates since then. We are going to revisit the Caribbean Airports scenery within the next few months to give a couple of updates, so the configuration file will be updated to work with all the latest GSX features also.
